Mark Meadows Turns Himself In at Fulton County Jail

Former President Donald Trump's final chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, has spoken with special counsel Jack Smith's team at least three times this year, including once last month in an Atlanta federal courtroom. Jones of the Northern District of Georgia rejected an effort by Mark Meadows, Mr. Trump's former White House chief of staff, to move his racketeering case from state court.

Mark Meadows Testifies in Georgia Federal Courtroom

On Monday, Mark Meadows testified in a federal courtroom in Georgia. He helped question the 2020 presidential election results by presenting an "alternate electors" plan to state officials. Meadows was one of several Trump allies who have been subpoenaed by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office as part of an investigation into whether Trump and his associates tried to overturn the election results in Georgia.
