The Argentina national football team, also known as the Selección de fútbol de Argentina, represents Argentina in men's international football. Founded in 1893, it is governed by the Argentine Football Association (AFA). The team has a rich history and has participated in numerous international competitions.
Accomplishments and Honors
Argentina is one of the most successful teams in international football. They have won the FIFA World Cup three times (1978, 1986, 2022) and the Copa América 15 times. They have also won the Confederations Cup once (1992) and the Olympic gold medal twice (2004, 2008).
