The Mystics jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter. But the Sky came back in the second quarter, and the game was tied at 46 at halftime.
The Mystics regained control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Sky 23-16. They held on to their lead in the fourth quarter to win by 13 points.
The Mystics now have a chance to close out the series at home in Game 3 on Tuesday night. The Sky will need to win both games in Washington to force a Game 5.
